One of the greatest traditions at WHS. I really enjoyed "The Messiah" every year and I always planned on getting back as an alumni. Whoops, many years later I STILL haven't made it back. Good luck to all the choir members on the 16th. I know you'll do WHS proud.

I know of no other Christmas tradition, other than church services themselves, that brings us back to the real focus of the Christmas season as attending the Messiah. It is always a worthwhile and very enjoyable performance to attend by our WHS choirs, directors, and Canton symphonic accompaniests; I love listening to those musicians play their instruments. So beautiful!

Next to the Massillon-McKinley game, the Messiah is Massillons greatest tradition.

My biggest regret about moving to Jackson and not being able to graduate from WHS is that I can not return to sing as an alum.

IMO the Messiah and La Traviata are the two most beautiful musical creations in Western history.

This year's performance was exceptionally wonderful--just as they all are each year. I only wish that those on the outside who rag on Massillon as being only a "football" school would take the time to pack our auditorium to witness this outstanding event. We are so rich in talent and tradition and our kids excell in academics, music, speech, drama, extra curriculars AND athletics.
