As I said last year in regards to Boise. Only team who has a complaint is Hawaii. Went undefeated and didnt get into the title game. I dont care who they played, they still went 12-0. With parody at the Div. I level, that still says something. Its not their fault that teams like Michigan, back out of their signed contacts 6 months before the season starts and nobody will play them.
I also find it rather funny that no one is speaking about the homer job the Big East officials tried to put on Pitt Sat night to get their "Big East" team, WVU, into the title game. It was ridiculous and someone from the NCAA needs to look into it.

Well, if LSU waxes Ohio State like Florida did last year you may NEVER see a Big Ten team in the championship game again. The talking has already started down here that this game is an even bigger mismatch than last year.

I mentioned the calls in another thread. It seems the officials wanted a Big Least team in the championship pretty bad.
Also, Hawaii is the only team who won EVERY game they were suppossed to. I never really thought about this until I read it on another site, but Kansas played NOBODY and got up to #2. Why didn't Hawaii get higher? Is it because the Big 12 is a better conference? Even so, Kansas didn't play any good teams in their conference until Missouri.

"the Buckeyes would play only two teams that finished in the top 20"
ok, but lsu played THREE that finished in the top 20. that's one more.
oklahoma played ONE.
usc has beaten two teams with winning records.
"While the Buckeyes were playing Youngstown State, a team like Tennessee was on the road at Cal."
wow! they played cal? you mean the same cal team that lost to stanford, ucla, and (drum roll).....................the same WASHINGTON team that was not a quality OOC for osu.
"Now I know the Sooners have a couple of losses, but to paraphrase a boxing expression, they beat the team that beat the team."
they also lost to a 6 loss colorado team that lost to a three win iowa state team. it works both ways.
"To examine Ohio State's schedule is to understand that Jim Tressel's team merely held serve during a weak year in the Big Ten, a season foreshadowed by Michigan's calamitous loss to Appalachian State back on Sept. 1."
funny he doesn't mention alabama's loss to ul monroe........at HOME.
moral of the story.....to say that osu doesn't deserve to be in this game is the same as saying that they deserve it just as much as anyone.

Well, the SEC certainly cant *itch. A 2 loss team playing for the title at home. Not sure what "deserves" has to do w/ it anymore but the same poll guys who all agreed last week Georgia was stronger than LSU suddenly flip flopped like Hillary on a bad hair day.
I would like to get Vegas' take on the top 5. Politics aside.
