They mentioned on ESPN on ABC that LSU may be in the mix somewhere in there also.

If Georgia makes it, that looks really bad imo. How does a team play for the national championship when they didn't even make it to their conference championship?

Maybe Va Tech jump them with the win over BC???

BTW, nice holding calls on Pitt.

I guess it is no worse to have Georgia compared to any other team that's been #1 or #2 in the BCS during this bizarre season

BUCKEYES are in because they only have one lost and should jump over both team's even if Missouri loses.

Why not Hawaii ???

How would Hawaii jump from 12 to 2? Especially with LSU, Va Tech, and USC ahead of them and winning today(against ranked teams).

However, the BCS rules state that you do not have to win your conference.

I didn't say that it couldn't happen. I said that it would look really dumb. A team who can't even win their conference playing in the national title game?

Maybe we should have App. State play OSU.

Why not Hawaii ???

Things aren't looking too good for Hawaii right now. Down by 3 touchdowns in the 2nd Q. I guess Hawaii has plenty of time to make a comeback, however.

Well USC won the Pac 10. I think the teams in the ship should be conference champions.

Al.,

I like your posts. I was shocked that Pittsburgh defeated West Virginia...I had WVU winning.

Well what the heck...I guess I better get some dog bones and watch the Georgia Bulldogs get set to take on Ohio State in the BCS national championship game if it happens.

Good Lord! Who was reffing...Donald Walker???

That had to be the most blatant attempt of trying to screw a team that I've ever seen!

The thing about those holding calls was that they didn't throw the flag until AFTER the Running Back broke into the clear.

Ha ha...I noticed on the first one it wasn't thrown until the runningback was in the endzone. On the second one when they showed the replay and slowed it down, they highlighted and pointed out the official right by the play watching the reciever....he never threw the flag. The flag came from way down field.

What about the acting job when that WV player was pushed and flopped to the ground? Anderson Varajeo and soccer players all over South America would be proud.

I would say the Big Least was desperate to get a team into the national championship game.
