..dang.. i was REALLY hoping this game would go the other way :thumbsdown: ... mostly because I still have a sour taste in my mouth from when St. X ended our State Championship hopes my senior year...

.. Mentor has a good team.. the weather just wasn't on their side tonight..


..oh well... hopefully soon Massillon will be back in the playoffs.. its no fun sitting back and watching everyone else win their State Championship.. but it was fun meeting some of the great people who came to our stadium and were absolutely blown away.. there were SOOO many good comments about our stadium and people can't wait to come back and see the finished DREAM project as well as our new locker room facilities.

St. Xavier can enjoy this one, But there is a storm comming. A storm thats on the horrizon. An orange and black storm.

I'll say I wasn't overly impressed with X's win over Coffman. But last night they were clearly the much better team. Undefeated with a brutal schedule, my hat goes off to the Bombers.

I think the rain, sleet, snow really hampered Mentor. That is the problem with the spread offense. You become less effective in bad weather.

Given the time of year, weather is inevitably going to be a factor late in the playoffs.
