I'm so excited!
I just got my tickets for the Trans Siberian Orchestra concert on New Years Eve in Cleveland!
Anyone ever seen the in concert?
I herd they are very good.

I saw them in Cleveland last year at the Q. I thought it was okay. However, I've heard that is a whole different show when it is done in a smaller venue (like EJ Thomas or the State Theatre.) In hindsight - I've never been to a concert at the Q that was any good.

Also, TSO is not one band - there are a couple different groups. I would imagine that there are difference between each.

Either way - have a good time. Go eat at Fat Fish blue before the concert and you can park for free in their deck. It is only about a 5 minute walk from Gateway.

I agree with your assessment of the Q. I seen the Rascal Flatts concert there this year and you couldn't even hear the song members just talking because they had the sound so loud it was distorted.


I was thinking about going to see TSO as well because I really think they sound great but then I figured you really don't know what the weather would be like to drive up to Cleveland then plus all of the crazy people in Cleveland will be out that night. I hope that the weather is good enough for you to drive up though and that you enjoy the show.

I was there last year for their last show sat 2nd row on the floor, thought it was great. Going back this year 8th row on the floor.

During the 2005 Christmas season, electrical engineer Carson Williams set up a Christmas light show in the front yard, driveway, windows, and roof of his house. The lights were synchronized to the song, and the show was free for anyone passing by who tuned to a specific low-power FM frequency on their car radio.

A three-minute video of the show circulated widely on the Internet, and also spawned many others who imitated the style of setting their Christmas lights to this and other songs.
