Mike Porrini is making an immediate impact at Western Carolina as the starting Point Guard. Great stats thus far this season!!!! 2nd on the team in scoring and leads the team in rebounding, assists, and steals!!

Mike is an all-around very, very good BB player, who was also a pretty good football player. Congrads on your successful 1st collegiate year; and IMHO the best is yet to come.

Mike's next game is 12/15 8:00pm @ Indiana will be on the Big Ten Network. I'm going to a friend's house to watch it.

How are you doing?!?!?!?! I saw Porrini on television last night and the announcers referenced Massillon and his football and basketball skills! When he was at the foul line, one of the announcers said "Porrini is from Massillon, Ohio, a city with great football tradition and fans."

Porrini lost three pounds from the 193 he had as a senior in high school. He's down to 190.
