I just wanted to let everyone know that I have purchased a copy of Madden NFL 2008 and Andy Alleman is featured in the game. This is awsome and quite an accomplishment to not only make the NFL but to be featured in a Madden game. Congratulations Andy once again for making the NFL.

this isn`t really something to brag about seeing mckinley has had numerous players in madden games for past 10 yrs. this is the first massillon kid i`ve heard of making the game though.

How does McKinley players being in it take away from the accomplishment?

It doesn't. And if he is in fact the FIRST Massillon player making it onto a Madden game, then all the greater the props due to him:thumbsup:

If you are on a NFL roster at the end of camp(make the team) you will be featured in the next years game addition! If you make the NFL you make the game! Andy was a fine player and hard worker and I hope he has a fine NFL career!

Pretty sure they had it in the mid to late 90's? I know they had it in 2000, which would have been developed before he retired.

The first version of the game was released in 1989 for the Apple II, as John Madden Football. The first console version (and the version that made it a top-selling franchise) for the Sega Genesis followed in 1990 with a Super Nintendo version available a year later. EA Sports has released annual updates for all versions since 1991's John Madden Football '92. The series gained full NFL licensing and became known as Madden NFL with 1993's Madden NFL '94; NFL players licenses came two years later.

Thanks - so Spielman retired in '99, right? He has to be on the game then.

Great research on Madden football! Which means before player licenses no players names or features were used in the games! Chris was on the game but not named in the the game.Technially---Andy is the 1st Massillon player in the license versions of the game and Chris was the first on the Madden game!
I am on the game as well----I am the highest rated player on the game when my son creates me in the system:rockin: !!!LOL

I swear he was on the 2000 version with the Browns. Could be wrong. What about '96 & 97 with Buffalo? They had player licenses at that time.

Maybe---I know Chris averaged a 100 tackles a year for more than half his career!!!

He was on the game with the Bills. I used to play with him all the time in between squat work outs. He was also on Blitz, which is much more of a Spielman-esque hard hitting bludgeon fest of a video game.
I love it.
Stay slobby.
...and great job Andy!

I was featured on the electric football game from the 70's that vibrated. I could shake and vibrate down the field so fast, people thought I was having a seizure.

No, Skeeter was the guy running with his helmet on backwards. He couldn't get the facemask over his lower lip.:jestera:
