Who cares! Now, when you post that the massillon coach has been replaced, that will perk my interest.

CLASSIC.

Please find the cnnsi.com link announcing Novak's retirement. I don't see Scott's name mentioned.

If you are interested in spewing your hate toward the Massillon Coach and program perhaps you should go to the Tiger Town forum and receive a second ban from the site.

This forum is dedicated to college and pro sports.

It was posted in newspapers in chicago the night before your post that he was at the top of the list for the job.

Are you telling me that you honestly think that you and your "Sources" broke this news?

Below is one of many that list shafer as the leading candidate and note it was posted the day before you and your sources ran down your lead....

I get a nice laugh out of all the "insiders" on this site. You and MantoMan ought to get together. Whats your next prediction going to be...a cold front will creep into massillon in december?

You think I get my information from SuburbanChicagoNews.com?

That must have been one heck of a google search to find that site.

You went from "All over the internet" to CNNSI.com to the SuburbanChicagoNews.com site.

Hey I'll list the rest if you want.....I guess my point was your "sources" didnt tell you anything that major news outlets were not already reporting......and like you said if ChicagoSuburbanNews.com knows EVERYBODY knows.....my point EXACTLY!

On a side note, my sources at UM tell me that Les Miles is going to speak to them about the head coaching job.....

I commend you for being an insider....you are THE MAN!

I don't understand your post, you rip me for giving information that you said was on cnnsi.com, and "all over the internet."

No where is the story did they state Scott Shafer would be the next coach.

Then you told him to post links if it is "all over the internet." Well he posted a link, it doesn't matter if the chicagosuburbannews is big to you or not. You asked for a link and he gave you one, that was printed before your post. Now do you understand??? By the way, grow some thicker skin if you're going to say that you have "inside info" because people will be looking to find something to prove you wrong. Nothing against you, just the fact that people love to prove "insiders" wrong. Go Tigers!!!!

Im still confused as to why anyone in Massillon or associated with Massillon would care about who would be the next coach at Northern Illinois.....let alone care about someone having sources or "inside info" on that program. Massillon has never had a player go to NIU, as far as I know, am I wrong? It also isnt a school near Massillon.

BTW, It doesnt matter if he turned it down or not...you and your sources were wrong, he is not the new head coach at NIU.

401 "Views", #2 most viewed thread on the College and Pro Sports forum page 1 would indicate otherwise.

Don't let the facts get in the way of your opinion.

It's a slow but stressful time on MP. We need comic relief.

I believe back in the 80's Bronc Phister and Darryl Strickland went to Northern Illinois. Darryl an offensive lineman and Bronc went as a kicker. Like Cracker said.....why is it important for people in Massillon to know who the next coach will be? I also can't believe how much time people spend trying to prove other people wrong. Just says thanks and move on....less time and more time to drink beer.
