Been a long time viewer of this site from Lexington, since Coach Payne and staff got here, and I know a lot of support has been thrown Lexington's way from Massillon and MP. With that in mind, I thought I would bring this to everyone's attention...
Coach Payne has been named Division II AP All Northwest Coach of the Year! His team also posted 5 First Teamers, 1 Second Teamer, and 2 Honorable Mentions

Awesome job BJ.......... no surprises here.............
If you coach with half as much intensity as you played with, those kids are probably ready to run through a brick wall for you and your staff. To ALL the former Tigers on your staff......... we are very proud of you!!!

You are definitely right! When I visited his facility this summer---BJ just has that fire that is needed at the HS level to motivate kids.
Stu----drives those kids just like his father
and Jarvis is a heck of a coach as well! They work great together and have the right methods to win football games.
Congrats BJ!!!

Coach Payne is also one of 5 coaches up for Coach of the Year in the state of Ohio, and was just voted to coach in either the North-South or Big 33 game this summer. All of this is pretty impressive for any coach, but for one in his second year??? Amazing! Congrats!!!
