I see the mayor plans on closing 9 holes at The Legends and selling off the land for 2.5 million.
They spent 6.5 million building the extra 9 holes, so he wants to take a
4 million dollar loss. ???????
If the course loses $100,000 a year, it would take 40 years to lose what he wants to do in one shot. This doesn't make much sense to me.
Now that the course is in good shape, they could make money.
If he shuts down 9 holes he is going to lose members and leagues, the two biggest money makers out there.
