At the end of the day, your loss is just as significant. You might be well advised to focus on your own troubles.

Massillon will do just fine against Hamilton. We've had our lousy game of the season; it's behind us; now let's move on and resume winning football games.
You cannot judge our season by the outcome of the two initial games. Likewise, you cannot judge our season by the outcome of game #3. Be confident. We have a fine football squad that will probably win for the remainder of the season.
You don't win games when you turn over the ball four or five times and allow two major punt returns that lead to scores against you. We won't play that poorly every week, folks.
Let's get our chins off the floor. Hokay?

I hope the moderators dont mind me re-posting this statement, I'm not spamming, I just feel like it should be said again. :)
Hey there everyone from Ohio!
I must say that I am extremely excited for next Saturday's game. And before the heat gets cookin, let me just say that I look forward to a really GOOD game.
I'm not big on bashing, because I know both sides have they're own say. But I have been reading plenty of posts, and, unfortunately for us, the scout reports from the first game were pretty close. A 21-7 victory for Hamilton High School is almost as bad as a loss, considering last year our first team defense only allowed 6 points leading up to the Championship.
For those of you who don't know yet, we defeated Paradise Valley [friday] night 49-7. This win of course was expected, considering PV's record in the last few years.
Heres a few little tid-bits, just facts, I'll try not to be TOO biased. :cool2:
Hamilton High School has been to the 5A State Championships 4 times in the last 5 years. We won consecutively in 2003-04 and 2004-05 seasons.
Hamilton High School is ranked 14th in the Nation by USAToday (although many critics rule their rankings out)
Hamilton High School has never lost more than three games per season in its 8 year history.
Yes, those are our "perks" - what we stand for and such. I know you guys have been around a lot longer than us. But, again, I'm just stating the facts.
I will say this: dont take this football team lightly. We're not like the first two teams you played. This game has been our focus for the last 4 months. You guys have a target on your back. And we will come at it strong.
As Backfield Drum Major and representative of the Hamilton Marching Huskies, Ill close out with my respects to your football program and marching band. I cannot even explain how excited I am to be on that field in front of 17,000 people. :afro:
See you in 7.

I don't really get what it is that you think should be said "again" since the thread you originally posted in is readily available to anyone who wants to read it.
Be assured that our TIGERS will be ready to take on the huskies and chaulk it up in the WIN column!
Safe travels to all and......GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
TIGERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSS!

ubergeetar,
no need to post it again - we got ya the first time....
The Hamilton Huskies, their students and fans show a lot of class and sportsmanship from what I've seen.
You will be warmly greeted in Massillon and in Ohio - we appreciate your team coming to play the Tigers....
Of course, all the Tiger fans hope that we kick your A** on the field:tig:
This will be a big test for both teams in different ways.
We can expect a great game.

Haha. Of Course.
My apologies for the double post. As you can see I'm really excited.
I agree that this will be a great test. And a great eye opener for a team that's used to winning easy (as in Hamilton). I personally believe this one will be a close one both ways. And the winning team will come out by between 1-3 touchdowns.... Just my prediction.
EDIT: Oh, and in reply to your post. Our fans hope WE kick YOUR A**! haha. This will be great.

That person has already posted here that they hope we lose in the Herbstreit. Most other fans throughout the state will be rooting for the Ohio teams this weekend (yes even St. Ed).

Looks like we were ready. Eds fans should be the first to know that you don't give up on the Tigers.

Really? I hate when Massillon "fans" come on here and publicly doubt our team. Shows how much you really know about these kids:thumbsdown:
I expect some fans from other teams to make remarks like they've posted here, but not our own. We must stand behind our team always, before the game, and let them know we have confidence in them!
I also would like to say that we talked to numerous St. Ed's fans and they were all quite cordial and exchanged wishes of good luck with us for our respective teams' games.

Kamd50,
Massillon fans are the best open-armed fans in Stark County! No other program also has better media relations than those of the Massillon Tigers, and having majored in media studies for five years at Mount Union, Massillon's media relations are a runaway #1 in my book.
You are the consummate Massillon Tigers fan, one who stands behind their charges, win or lose. You do a good job of that.
A Keenly, Ardent, Motivated, Dutiful post by yours truly.
