On an otherwise businesslike team (reflecting PB) Ratterman was the comic relief.

One time he replaced Graham in a game that was well in hand. PB sent in a rookie guard with the play. Ratterman said, "I dont like that one. Tell Paul to send in another one."

The rookie, being a rookie, reversed field and headed back to the sideline. Ratterman had to chase the kid down before he got back to PB.
