I thought baseball ended last Sunday.

Seeing how easily the Red Sox handled the Rockies, it leaves just another "woulda, shoulda, coulda" moment for Cleveland fans.

Couldn't agree more. I suspect if someone other than the Rockies had made it we might have seen some better games. LTFT, woulda, coulda, shoulda nothing. Up 3-1 the Tribe has nobody to blame but themselves.

As far as another team making it more interesting than Rockies in the World Series they had their chance during the playoffs.

Thank you for that revelation. The fact is, Colorado was NOT the best team in the NL. They got hot and did what they had to do. Then the match-up for them went completely to hell. They really never had a chance in this series.

Like the Cleveland Indians, Colorado was exposed as a soft bunch. Boston manager Terry Francona knew that the Rockies had never been on baseball's most glamorous stage. Furthermore, Francona knew that if his Red Sox got up 2-0, the Rockies would tense up, which they did. Again, Francona knew that it would be an easy series for his team unlike the ALCS, when Cleveland softened up having a 3-1 lead and again, Francona knew Cleveland was soft and would not be able to put the Sox away largely because his ball club had a bigger heart and a tougher baseball team than the Indians.

Yes...Terry Jon Francona has ventured into baseball heaven in leading his club to their second world title.

Hey Pittsburg Playboy:

Can you PLEASE tell me where you think the Indians went soft? And also the Rockies. It's the freaking PLAYOFFS, man. To even get there means you gutted it out 162 freaking games. There is no "softness" or "getting soft" in any of these teams. PLEASE think about what you are writing, my friend.

CarlE,

Cleveland got soft in the fifth game of the ALCS and the 30-5 span of runs by Boston in the last three games was the difference.

Colorado softened up in game 3 of the World Series.

No one knows that better than TJF...(Boston's manager).

Actually, Colorado was softer than Cleveland was.

Then how soft was Atlanta? (you know, your favorite team)?

<The fact is, Colorado was NOT the best team in the NL.>

Never said they was.

<They got hot and did what they had to do.>

Agree.

<They really never had a chance in this series.>

Boston was by far the better team, but it was a fun ride. It would have been a sweeter ride if the Indians won. I was planning to wear my Indian's gear to work during Wear Purple Day.

That's OK Keno, keep getting your satisfaction by watching OTHER teams lose in the ALCS. I for one am PROUD TO BE an Indians fan, and look forward to watching this team for years to come.

How sad it must be for you haters to get your post season excitement this way. As for me..... I'll take what the Tribe gives me and keep supporting them no matter what. Fact is, Boston was the better team when it mattered. They deserve the title, and don't think for a second that they don't respect the Tribe, no matter what you so called experts think!

By the way...... what's with this middle name thing???
