Hartville Tiger,
24-13 Steelers!!!!!!!! For Tina (strict Catholic), Randi (killer instinct), Kathryn (full of dominance),Melanie (Melting Em' Hot)...and everyone else whose heart and soul is entrenched in Pittsburgh blood (I was a Pittsburgh playboy at MUC...there's more but I'll spare the details)!
Go Steelers!!!!!!
P.S. I can't believe Cincinnati head coach Marvin Ronald Lewis decided to kick a field goal with a fading Steelers defense on the field for more than 10 minutes in the second quarter. What had been a 14-3 Pittsburgh lead about to be a tenuous 14-10 advantage was only a 14-6 Steelers lead. You and I should thank MRL for going for the field goal in the second quarter...Willie Parker finished the job with a 1 yard touchdown before halftime!!!!!
GO STEELERS! 05' world champions working towards a sixth title!!!!

My take on this thread.....who freaking cares.
I'm am now going to predict a Browns win over the Steelers....and I'm going to keep predicting it to happen....and if one day it ever does happen, I'm going to tell everyone "I told you so".

MTown,
It's been four years since Pittsburgh lost to Cleveland. And it will be four-and-a-half in two weeks.

For this year, it doesn't even matter. Regardless of how "The Puke" does against the Browns, no one is getting by Indy and New England once the playoffs start.
Now, give us one more offseason to get a defensive line, and this nice run you've had is going to end.

MTown,
I can't see Cleveland beating two Super Bowl XL finalists...first Bill Gates hometown...then Dennis Miller's hometown?
I mean, come on! Well.....you might beat the sullen Seahawks but not the sensational Steelers!
Believe in the hometown of Dennis Miller! Never forget how he was raised! Never forget his birthday is November 3rd (he'll be 54)!
GO STEELERS!!!!!!!!!

Keno,
I hope Cleveland whacks the Steelers-- I hate the steelers with a passion being a big Cowboys.

monte81,
Dennis Miller's hometown doesn't know how to lose to Drew Carey's hometown. And Jessica Simpson's hometown lost two Super Bowls to Miller's hometown.
If it happens in two weeks, Steelers 34, Browns 14.

Keno---Dallas would score 40 this year on the Steelers. Remember 1995!!!! Dallas whooped the Steelers in the Super Bowl behind the great Emmit Smith, Aikman, and Irvin-----they also had a great defense led by Charles Halley.

monte81,
27-17...I don't see that as a whipping. We had three bad breaks in that game...a punt which a Dallas player touched it at the Pittsburgh 17 and was recovered by the Steelers but were not awarded possession. That wasn't too big of a deal but Neil O'Donnell's two ill timed passes to Larry Brown set your guys up for TWO scores in a combined FOUR plays (the first one wasn't too much to worry about even though the Steelers did fall behind 20-7 and rallied to get to 20-17, the second one was the deathnail in the black and gold).
Dallas played mistake-free football that day, that's all. If any of those bad breaks hadn't happened to Pittsburgh, who knows.........
P.S. Whipping? Tell that to Buffalo...52-17 and 30-13!

A whipping is a whipping keno either by 1pt. or 100 in my book---Dallas dominated the Steelers physically and had O'Donnell on his heals all game!

On Monday, on the way home from Cincinnati, we listened to KYW 700 AM. I am pleased to say that finally the majority of Bengal fans are fed up with Marvin Lewis and the Brown family. After the field goal from the two yard line, the chorus of "Boos" from the home fans was very loud. I don't think they will put up with the orginization much longer. After 17 years. my wife and I have decided to give up our season tickets. We will lose our $986.00 personal seat liscence fee. It just isn't worth the $ 1,260.00 cost to watch an inferior product. We did sell our tickets for the Arizona game to the couple that sits next to us for $126.00. Depending on what they do against the Bills, our tickets could show up on STUB HUB for the rest of the season. The cost for the Cleveland game will be inflated!

WOW. The consummate Bengals fan is now abandoning the team. If you're the Bengals, this is as bad as it gets. jobdone saying good-bye. A sad, sad day for Cincinnati. I think that somebody should put a watch on him and make sure he doesn't hurt himself, or better yet invite him to BW3's to watch when the Browns and Bengals play. He's in a bad place right now!!! LOL.

CarlE,
Face it...I have a pit feeling that MRL is losing control of the team but I know what he is going through: remember ex-Steelers head coach Bill Cowher decided to go for a field goal on fourth and 1 against New England in the 2004 AFC title game. Instead of scoring against a fading Patriots defense, Cowher sent the field goal unit in, the score was 31-20 and two scores later, William Stephen Bill Belichick's Patriots took advantage of the call in the form of a field goal (34-20) and a late touchdown (final 41-27).
MRL's decision to kick the field goal hurt...the Steelers got a touchdown of their own...and the Bengals are falling fast!
