I sat in the North Stands and the TIG was so loud from where I was sitting! I just hope the ERS was just as loud! I know the team heard it and I thought that the support was GREAT! Again, Congratulations to the Tiger Fans In the South Stands! Chap

I sit in the south stands....we make sure we bring it too! I think you guys threw it back just as loud as we sent it out. The best part is that those McKinley folks just hate it.

They will never out cheer us Tiger Fans!

Nor outblood Tiger fans. Because they only count USABLE blood, Massillon should win every time!

Did they turn off the PA right after Willoughby's TD? What was that large thump I heard from the press box PA area? (Actually, Scott Davis was a bit more subdued than usual the whole game.)

I'm glad not to see McK's wind-up-toy band director for another year or hear of the "brown shed" for another two years.

What about all those commericals they had on the scoreboard for the Canton City Schools?? What's up with that?

I do think the fans really brought it with the TIG ERS!! Better than I've heard in a long time.

As their Mayor said "their test scores and graduation rate improved." Of course they only had one way to go. :jestera:

I think the fans did a great job thoughout the game. Staying loud thoughout the whole game even when it look as all was lost. Great job! I think that had to something with the team with getting back into the game. we showed that we were there to support them win or lose and that is how it should be every game.

Notice them throwing things at the band, too? If that would've been our fans doing that to them,it would've made national headlines.

Marching the band in front of the student section wasn't the smartest move either and to the McK administration's credit, they stopped the throwing of stuff as quickly as possible. If you all want to whine about booing the band, you should worry about our own players being shown on the big screen gesturing at their jocks to McKinley players. There was a lot of smack both ways on the field, but that was not a bright moment for Massillon

Also to those who want to bash McKinley's test scores/graduation rates/etc, you're just setting us up for criticism right back. We are not much better off on the state report card.

Massillon HS: 8 Indicators 91.5 Performance Index AYP Not Met
McKinley HS: 5 Indicators (and climbing) 87.8 Performance Index AYP MET

I'm all for Massillon fans knowing that we've got the better high school but it'd be nice to show SOME class when referring to the school's academic achievements.... or at least show some knowledge of what you're talking about

It was just as loud, we were over in the South stands.. And my throat hurt after the game and my husband lost his voice :tig: What a game. And as far as the McK fans you can't expect anything less. Our exp. with a McK fan was a girl couldn't of been more then 16.. We were driving out and a group of Massillon fans passed our car just cheering waving their flags.. and this little girl steps out of her car and screams "Hey "F**K" y'all" and start to just act totally crazy. But, emotions are high for everyone, its just sad that people act like they do.

But what a game!!

Those guys threw several rocks in the endzone seats.... the sad part was how the cop just gradually walked as slow as possible up the hill as they just walked away

Very nice comment about the grades... In massillon it wasnt grades that counted it was the football teams record.. FINALLY things are changing however things still need ALOT of Work to be done MASSILLON AND MCKINLEY are in the same boat.. And yes people talk about class less fans well those how stated about Mck and their grades are also class less fans also...

And since we on the topic.. Remember the IGGY GAME????? there were only about 5 fans actually cheering the ENTIRE game talk about classless.. MASSILLON fans should cheer no matter what .. thats OUR TRADTION... if you dont want ot cheer then STAY HOME and watch the replay ..

I do want to say that was the first time in a few years that the TIG--- ERS first of all really got started let alone that LOUD it was AWESOME because MCk fans really do hate that

GO TIGERS GO get them next year
