...Chuck Maier, head of security for the Massillon City Schools, said he knows at least two of the suspects – who were allegedly caught in the act – are McKinley Senior students. The other two are from Canton, he said, but aren’t students....

If there was EXTRA security, how did they do SO much damage ?? And,...how did it take 30 minutes to catch them ???

I am puzzled by the timeline also. Obviously someone saw the crime being committed shortly after 2 and called the police. Why would it take 30 minutes to get to the highschool when it should have taken, like 5? This doesn't sound right to me.

They should have made those idiots clean every last bit of that paint off before they hauled them off to jail.

I agree. There was a story not too long ago about a guy who went into a home and made a huge mess looking for money and valuables. The owners had come home and went and immediately got their gun. THe husband held it to the guy's head and made him clean up the entire house before he called the police to come and get him. Then the thief had the nerve to complain to the cops that the people made him clean up the mess.

Typical Canton thugs showing their true colors, and how much class they really have.
You would think at some point in time they would grow up and start acting like the rest of us. Guess that will never happen.

Even more confusing is that Massillon was hit again last night?!? Also, someone allegedly painted Massillon comments at McKinley's new addition. If true, classless on both sides. And dumb.

Before you guys get too carried away, "Beat McKinley" was painted in orange on McKinley High School including some new doors.

My guess? They were found at 2:25am and the police got there at 2:30am

Someone just forgot to wind their watch is all.

make the penalty fit the crime...sitting in jail just costs the tax payers money on top of money...part for paying for the clean up...and another part for feeding / housing those fools...

have them out there cleaning up the mess...being that they used house paint...that will take them quite a while...and teach them something at the same time...

when will people learn...toilet paper is biodegradable...and eventually is washed away...and so is crayola washable paints...if they must express themselves in such a manner...

as to why the police weren't there sooner...they probably had to finish their dunkin doughnuts...and coffee...( just funnin)

This is an atrocity for both programs! Don't both already have enough problems this year? Serious lack of class on both sides. This game is getting National coverage and will be on T.V., do we want footage shown of the damages? This would be a shameful thing for both programs. Do either deserve to look this dumb on T.V? I think not. Hopefully everything gets cleaned up by gametime. It would be a shame for this to get National media exposure. And hopefully they will get the maximum penalty for these offenses, maybe others will think twice before doing something this stupid again!

Kamd50,

I said it before and I'll say it again: You don't get away from Massillon police...finest police in all of Stark County!
