We are planning to tailgate for the game this Saturday.

Hopefully we can get there early enough and stake out our spot indicated by the red star on the map below.

They won't let anyone in the parking lots to tailgate, so we will be on a grassy strip along side the road.

Please bring food and plan to arrive between ten and eleven.
(Come earlier if you want to, and keep us company.)

We hope to see everyone there that can make it.

Look for our canopy.

I am bringing BBQ pulled pork for sandwiches, and home made chili.

Gina is bringing a cheese ball.

As usual, we will have great food and plenty of it!

Brownies, pop, water. My husband will make one of his herbal delight dips and bringing chips for dipping. I did get my table from Obiefan today so if I don't get it to someone that is getting there early I will bring that too.

Just talked to the tailgaters out at Mckinley. They are all set up and waiting for the rest of us to get there. All are welcome. Just bring some food and come introduce yourselves.

My husband and I enjoyed the tailgate. Thanks to everyone that made it possible. There was so much food. I ate way too much!!

The tailgate was great. We had a great turn out and tons of great food. I do have to say I think I tasted the best homemade chili in the world at the tailgate (way to go Seeker). Welcome to all the new people that showed up. The day was an all around great day. Great tailgate, great Tiger win, great celebration! Come on 2008 football season! GO TIGERS!

Thanks Kiddo, but now my wife wants to know why I never cook at home.

All in all it was a great tailgate, but I had hoped for more than the 46 people that we had there (counting kids) considering that it was McKinley.

Next year we will need to get people to bring less food though, because the leftovers could have fed the team.

A hearty thank-you goes out to the new folks, especially the wild crowd from Magnolia! (And yes, we do always have that much fun, and yes the food is always that good.)

See you all in August '08.
