OSU -vs- MICHIGAN
Once upon a time, there was a season when neither Ohio State nor Michigan made a post-season bowl game.
It seemed so unusual that the teams figured there should be some sort of competition anyway.
So they got together and decided on a week-long ice-fishing competition.
On the first day, Ohio State caught 100 fish and Michigan caught none.
On the second day, Ohio State had caught 200 fish and Michigan still had zero.
The Michigan coach, suspecting cheating, dressed one of his players in scarlet and gray and sent him to the Ohio State camp to act as a spy.
At the end of the day, the player came back to the report.
"Are they cheating?" asked the coach.
"They sure are," the player said. "They're cutting holes in the ice!"

DAWGH8R,
Keep right on. I laughed when I saw your post but you're going to get yours. In fact...every OSU fan on MassillonProud.com is going to get theirs. November 18th, you watch.
Don't say I didn't tell you.........

You are correct Keno! We will get ours!
That is, if you are referring to a bid to the National Championship game for the second year in a row!

TigerBuckeye313,
You will get yours and it won't be a NATIONAL championship let alone a Big Ten title!

You been saying that for quite a while now. So keep up the good work. And by the way they need a new coach next year. So why don't you sign up for the job and keep up the good work for the BUCKEYES.

npaflas,
I have faith in Michigan. When you are in the eye of the storm and things are against you, it only makes a team like Michigan play harder.
When has Ohio State ever been in the eye of the storm? When have they faced adversity and played harder? Get back to me on that.........
Until then...you just be ready to join the club that Obie Wan is in: the awfully, nasty, gnashing, radically, yacking, jealous, appalled, yanked, notably, embittered club (see the 2nd grader gun topic)...in other words..."The Angry Jayne Club!" I know that felt good for Ohio State back in 2003!
Any Buckeye fans up for induction into the "Angry Jayne" club after Michigan puts a foot in the Bucks butt?

I thought being from Michigan, being an ice hole was just a natural part of their personality.

And why is it that the people in Michigan don't like to eat M & M's??

Seriously, dude, what are you talking about? They were in "the eye of the storm" after losing to App St and had a home game against Oregon....what happened?
Look, you have predicted a Michigan victory over Ohio State every year since you came to the site....so no, if Michigan does win this year you do not get to say "I told you so".
As for the last time Ohio State was in the eye of the storm....I dunno, maybe 2006 vs Michigan....or 2005 vs Michigan...or 2004 against Michigan....................

MTown,
You brought out my biggest weakness that has plagued me: Michigan has not beaten Ohio State since I've been on MassillonProud.com...since 2004. And I'm not proud of that statistic. By the way, Michigan didn't get off like they wanted to against Oregon, that's all.
I'm not also proud of the fact that in my five years at Mount Union that Michigan won only ONE meeting in five years...2003. And two Massillon natives have hit me hard over that...the first being Ron Styer, longtime Massillon booster, the other one...well, on this one, I'll spare the thought of the "pain." I could go on and on but you get the message.
Yes, OSU was in the eye of the storm in 04, 05, 06...Michigan just failed to finish them off, that's all.
But it's a new year and I'll have your "Angry Jayne" membership waiting for you...because you will be angry after November 18th and will be saying bad words after Michigan finally breaks the scarlet and gray ice. Be sure to start recruiting other Bucks fans too!
Now go finish listening to that genuine "you-can't-stop-Michigan" music: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zO5NrGa8f8)

Again, what are you talking about? Michigan scored first in that game!

MTown,
No, Oregon set the tone for the game. They scored first. Chad Henne threw an interception on Michigan's first drive and the Ducks scored on their first offensive possession. Michigan scored second when Henne threw a touchdown to Adrian Arrington and the rest of the day belonged to the Ducks.
That was the first time I ever saw Michigan rattled in the debacle of a 39-7 loss. But I wasn't rattled...I knew they would bounce back and that is why they are undefeated in the Big Ten conference.
The team that scores first sets the tone for the game. But if the other team scores, they set a bigger tone. Then it comes down to who can do what afterwards.
