I put this one on coach K's shoulders. 3rd and long with 2 minutes to go. They're bringing the house every play leaving single coverage. Hoagland is wide open every play, they can't cover him. The kid has 200 yrds receiving already and 4 td's. Throw the damn ball to him and get a first down if not another touchdown. Don't run it up the f'in middle where you know they're blitzing. They have a timeout to stop the clock anyways so it's not like an incompletion will hurt. Coach K's inept offensive mind always pissed me off and it reared it's ugly head again tonight.

BTW.. someone told me the Big Red's QB is only 15? he's the best QB i've seen this year. That includes anyone Massillon has played this year.

Yeah, I heard that while listening to the game ... very impressive.

It was a VERY exciting game to listen to the ending on the radio. To go about 80 yards with about a minute to play and no time outs is amazing. Central's missed extra point earlier in the game really hurt.

#8 and #10 are real good! Big Red fans told me that the QB just turned 15. He's unbelievable. Big Red does need to cover the pass better to make another run. What about the left tackle? He had to be 6' 8'' and about 280.Hoagland was open all-night as somebody mentioned. Having attended six Central games this year. It was clear that they were going to lose one on the mixed extra-point. They are terrible kicking extra-points. From the snap to the hold to the kick. I can't figure out why the score-board keeper didn't let the clock run to 0.00 instead of stopping at 0.01. Let the ref's figure it out. I guarentee had it had been reveresed and the game at Stuebenville the clock would have ran out.

Macon just turned 15 a few weeks ago.

Incredible performance for a 15 year old !!! Everyone uses YOUTH as an excuse for poor play/mistakes.

I'll bet he had NO varsity experience entering this year !!

I guess young guys CAN get the job done !!

I would not say he had no varsity expierece going into this year. During most of the season last year, he would stand on the sideline as a ball boy as a frosh and dressed varsity towards the end of the season in his fireball helmet when the frosh season came to a close. I think he took a few snaps in different games.

The fireball helmet being the freshman helmets, solid red with no block S. Obvious distinction when freshman get into varsity action.

Macon is definitely something special. The Big Red Nation has been talking about this kid since he was in middle school. Following in Zach Collaro's shoes was not an enviable position to be in (40-1 as a starter), but Dwight has done an outstanding job. Needless to say, the future is looking extremely bright at Big Red..
