Hi all, first off let me tell you all how impressed I am with your football program and town spirit. I am a head coach of the Milton Marauder football program in Canada, we are a semi pro football team, we are an extremely sucessful program with a provincial, national and divsional titles. I also am the defensive line coach at the University of Guelph.

Two years ago I watched the movie "Go Tigers" and became an instant fan of the team, program and town. I am planning to come to the October 28th game and need information on obtaining 3 tickets and on accomodations in your town as well as a list of events that will be taking place etc... I want to take in the atmosphere of your great city during my visit. I plan on driving down on Thursday night Oct 26th and returning on Sunday Oct 29th, unless they offer me a coaching job while I am there...lol.

Look forward to your responses.

Good Luck the rest of the way!!!

You couldn't pick a better time to come and experience a Massillon game/tradition! There will also be a rally at the Washington High School Friday the 27th in the gym. Just come to the school and use the main entrance and ask where the gym is and explain why you are there. It would be wise to get there by 1:30 p.m. When I find out a definite starting time, I will post it. It is well worth experiencing all of the energy and decorations, etc!

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to go ahead and reserve your room soon. If you stay at the Hampton you will be right downtown for the parade. Once the parade is over, everyone follows it and walks down to Massillon City Recreational Center (where it ends). There, a bonfire and an additional little pep rally is held where the coach and a few of the captains speak briefly.

Anyone at the Hampton will be able to give you directions to the school/stadium, which is only minutes away. I am sure that the Massillon Proud tailgaters will be setting up a tailgate that day which you can learn more about later on, if you want to meet up with some of the crazy fans who post on this site!

This sounds amazing this is exactly what I was hoping for! It should be a lot of fun and a real football experience, this is the type of atmosphere and town I always had hopes of securing a coaching position in, maybe one day.

I look forward to coming down and taking in all the atmosphere and all of the fun surrounding the game itself as well as the culture and history of the town and team. Look forward to the tailgating experience as well.

You can log onto our web site at www.miltonmarauders.com and the league web site at www.nfcfootball.ca to learn more about us. The University of Guelphs web site is http://www.athletics.uoguelph.ca/Varsity_Sport/_Teams/Football

Have fun any questions about our sites or programs feel free to ask.

You might want to get your tickets right away. I just got mine and all that's left is in the end zone. I wasn't aware they were selling them for that game already....

Just call the number for the ticket office. He or his assistant or usually in there this time of day, if not, they can probably transfer you over.

NFC Coach - Good seats at this game are like trying to get good seats at Major event. In this area, it is biggest game of the year. If we pack out, there will be upwards of 18,000 people for a high school football game. Truthfully, all the seats are decent in our stadium because of the box design. The end zones are the least desirable of course...

NFC: If I were you, Id call Coach Stacy or our AD, introduce yourself, and see if you can get a field pass.

As a coach, you will appreciate the hitting up close and personal.

NFC Coach,

Great to see you coming to Massillon. I've been to Guelph a few times and it's a very nice city. How's your hockey?
