Looking for tickets to the fall classic when the Indians make it. Two tickets wanted anywhere in the stadium for any of the home games. Please PM if you have two extra tickets or have the password to buy tickets but will not be buying your alloted amount of tickets.

Everyone has their price. It just depends on how much you want to pay. :scratchchin:

Their website is so busy, they put you on "hold" basically. I thought I would see what they had since my son's 15th birthday is Friday. What a birthday gift that would have made, huh, lol!

I know a local guy selling his pair of tickets
behind home plate with 2 tickets to the Terrace Club and a parking pass. $2500

Yea X, you're right.

I haven't been to a game for a few years, so I forgot about the ancillary expenses.

As I recall, I need to budget about $100 per person in addition to the tickets.

A lot of these folks who think they're going to pay for their kids' college by selling a couple of tickets are in for a disappointment. Tickets for the ALCS games have been widely available on the street for only a nominal markup.

Hell, in 1995 I bought a ticket 20 rows behind home plate for $15 over face. I sat about 3 rows behind Bud Selig.

Get up there early. Ask around in the bars (you're going to be there anyway). Get a little away from the stadium and catch people on their way in (try east across 9th street by Cooperstown). Look for Dad and a couple of kids - a lot of times Mom begs off (particularly if it's cold) and he's stuck with an extra. And remember - single tickets are a whole lot easier to find than a pair.

Don't confuse the ALCS with the WORLD SERIES. You won't be buying any World Series tickets for a "nominal markup" anytime soon !!

If you don't score tix, it would be OK just to party by the Jake in one of the sports bars!!

My experience says otherwise.

The way the Indians are playing tonight you may not have to worry about world series tickets. The bats are flatlined

WOW. There's a true fan. LTFT, I now rest my case on my plight with the Indians and their fans. This was too easy.

I am sure that the large majority of Indian's fans are not fairly represented by 006's despairing remarks:doh: We all just would have rather they clinched the World Series spot last home at the Jake instead of having to wait until the weekend now, hopefully in one more game!

Come on Carl, isn't there still just a little bit of that Tribe spirit still lingering somewhere deep inside of you?
