"only" 1500? If a Cincy team brought that many to Massillon I would be thrilled. Hell, if an Akron team brought that many I would be thrilled. #1 its not the playoffs. #2 its live on tv!

yet a fan from a cincy team would certainly tell you that they'd bring 100,000 to the game. LOL.

You gotta remember that tickets were also being sold over the internet. I'd bet that a bunch of people bought theirs that way.

NOTE: If you're going to the game, get your ticket at the Massillon ticket office before you leave town. Tickets are no longer being sold online, and you'll save $3 over the gameday price. Moreover, the school might get a slice of the sale.

I thought I read that the school DOES get a percentage of the revenue if you buy them from the ticket office. Thought I read that in another thread, Wan but it never hurts to repeat it.

That may have been about the Herby, and as you say, it doesn't hurt to remind people to buy their HERBIE tickets in advance also.
As I recall, we get no cut of game day ticket revenue.

Also, the Herbie might well be sold out by then.

I would expect more than that (1,500). There was, without a shadow of a doubt, more than that last year. Heck, Dawgh8r probably bought that many tickets himself.

........i did not go down last year, how many tiger fans made it?.....when i said rumor i meant just that and wanted a true number.....it seemed like 4-5000 were in indy to watch a tiger team with a 3 game losing streak going in and 4 straight after the dome game.......yes the number 1500 did not sound good but with online and some gate buying it should be fine.....just spoiled by some past crowds i guess.......wish i could be there

I know that we get a slice of the Herbie presale, but it's unclear if we get any from this weekend's game.

Regardless, it's best to make it your habit to buy your tickets in Massillon whenever possible.

Also, the Herbie might well be sold out by then.
Good point.

Yeah, you're right. I had my game venues mixed up. I remember now it's the Herbstreit Classic that we get a percentage of. My bad.
