While there aren't any playoff implications for the two participants today, there is for one local team. If McKinley wins, Lousiville will play Tri-Valley. If Massillon wins, the Lepoards will play Lake.

Not to prop the Federal League, I would NEVER do that, but I would be willing to bet that Louisville and Licking Valley would have both beaten Normandy this year. As for Solon, I think that Louisville and Licking Valley would have given the Comets a quality game and would have scored more than seven points against them!

To be honest, I was thinking the same.

Here's the playoff situation for D1R2. Massillon has been mathematically eleminated from the playoffs, per Joe Eitel's site. He has Massillon at #15 in D1 R2. The top 8 teams for the region get into the playoffs. The teams that are in for the post season for D1R2 are:

Brunswick
North Canton Hoover
Nordonia
Toledo Whitmer
Wadsworth
Perrysburg
Toledo St. John's Jesuit
Canton GlenOak

Congrats to the two Stark County teams- North Canton Hoover and Canton GlenOak, for making it into the playoffs.

Slow down, honey. GlenOak is not in if Lorain Southview beats Lorain Admiral King this afternoon. As unlikely as that is, that game is not yet over.
