What does it matter? I love the tigers and hate the bulldogs(on the field), I root for UM , hate the yankees and love the tribe, the Browns suck but I root for them anyway and I love the Dallas Cowboys, root for the Cavs but love the Lakers.

Every person grew up liking/loving certain teams because of players, uinforms, alumni, bandwagon jumpers, etc,.... let him root for the punkstripes and just hope Cleveland wins it all! As long as he plays 100% for the Cavs that is all we can expect!

Because it's not the same case. While I wish that he'd support all of the hometown teams, there are pictures of him as a kid wearing Yankees gear. So he's been consistent. And it appears to be the fashionable thing to do among celebs, even if they never were born or grew up in New York.
