Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy Didn't talk about his teams victory during the post-game news conference.

Instead he chose to go ballistic on a newspaper columnist after the writer trashed one of his players.

Watched it at Beef-O'-Brady's Sports Bar last night. I was there for a breat cancer benefit and saw this guy going postal on TV. I asked them to turn it up and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. This guy now gets my vote for Coach of the Year and I don't give a damn what Oklahoma State's record ends up being. I'm tired of the liberal press taking pot-shots whenever they want with no repurcussions. Especially at kids, which was the jist of Mike Gundy's tirade. Way to go, Coach.

Watched it at Beef-O'-Brady's Sports Bar last night. I was there for a breat cancer benefit and saw this guy going postal on TV. I asked them to turn it up and I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The coach stuck up for his players to the press and I applaud that. Some coaches could learn a few lessons on lplayer-coach relationships from him.

Ha ha. It was for some 3-mile walk thing coming up. My wife's friend sponsers it so we went over after practice last night, smart guy. By the way, did Brandi tell you I called?

Anyway, that makes me want to rip some know-it-all fans who think they know everything...

That guy is deff. a players coach and if I had a kid I would deff. consider sending him to OSU to play for Gundy.

I was thinking about how not only did Coach's actions show his loyalty to his players but his courage as well. I hope he got a standing "O" in the locker room.

Coaches are strange birds - they'll often do strange things to motivate their players. The question is: did he really find this article that offensive, or was his tirade designed more for internal consumption? We may never know.

It was after the win I believe, Wan. So unless you are talking about internal consumption for the rest of the year then I'm going with that he was REALLY pissed off.
