A win is a WIN,....and boy did we need this one !! We took baby steps tonight. But ,we did start off better than we have the last 2 weeks. The line sounded as if they were really moving bodies tonight.
We will need to take these steps, and add to them for the upcoming weeks. The kids did learn tonight that if they come out with FIRE, and stick to their assignments, good things can happen.
We have always known that this team has the talent. Now they have a little taste of confidence !! Let's take these "baby steps" and turn them into a 12 game win streak !!
Hopefully these kids will start believing that they CAN make things happen, when they all WORK TOGETHER !!
We will need a stellar week of practice, and a solid game plan for the upcoming weeks. At least the scouts got a "2 for1" at the Iggy/Mentor game tonight. Too bad Iggy couldn't have shown us more on how to attack the Mentor defense.
Keep the faith, and tell the kids to keep theirs !

Hopefully, this year's seniors remember how bad that taste in their mouth was after last year's Mentor game. I know I do !!
What a STATEMENT the TIGER NATION could make by avenging that loss !!
