massillon looked the best out of all the teams.louisville doesn't seem to have a qb and the snap to the qb wasn't to good. there overall peformance made me think if they can't run they will be in trouble. they also didn't seem to have good speed, they were the worst team rate them 5,now maple heights looked to have some athletes and made some nice plays. there coach seemed to have the bob knight thing going with all the high tone talking. I would put them behind are tigers at 2. miamisburgh [team in blue] seemed to me to have a decent qb and team, rate them 3rd. next would be strongsville I was suprised they didn't have more speed.I think they will lose to any good team with speed that they play, rate them 4. now are tigers had some nice plays, with one wr catching the football over the middle when the db tryed to knock it away. looked to have stickem' on that play. another play are wr made a one handed catch with the left hand [if my memmory is correct]. we did have a pass knocked down and some int's. one was when we tried to go deep on deep coverage. the other was a pass in the flat, after the play you could hear stacy saying what are you doing. all in all good effort by are tigers with room for improvements. :tig: hopefully nobody minded me talking about the other teams a little.

That was almost as good as being there. OhioVarsity did a great job.

Only needed some audio

With Rotsky on the field, I don't know how much audio you could use.

I was at the scrimage and I agree with what tiger 74 said but Miamisburgh and Maple Heights were really close and it could have been either one as the second best team there. The coach at Maple H. is a millonaire and he says and acts just about anyway he wants to. He has done a great job of coaching there. GO TIGERS

I'm not questioning his ability at all. If you remember he got several mentions on here during the last coaching search. He's a fiery guy but has turned around that program.

each team got 10 mins, or somewhere there abouts, running clock no chains on offense..
usually they score these 6 pts for a td 2pts for a pick and the O goes back to the 40....

I missed Massillon offensive series with Miamisburg according to the Indy Huth had 2 td passes which would make that score
Mass 16 Miamisburg 14... their QB was very sharp tight spiral quick release
Mass 16 Strongsville 6
Mass 18 Maple Hts 14 ...also a very nice qb reminded me of Steve McNair
Mass 18 Louisville 4

Bobby Huth seemed a bit off today......the team looked very fast at all positions...WR's concentration was a bit off way too many drops...

lots of miscommunication between the safeties...today.... lots of wide open seem routes...ez to correct

all in all a decent job for thr first time out....

and why this was going on the OL was in the parking lot loading a commercial freezer...an 8 by 8 walk in...lol..

actually I watched the film link and our o had 3 touchdowns which would have made the "score" Mass 22 Mburg 14

It was probably Chris Willoughby. Jr. 6'2 180?

It was Chris Willoughby at QB. The other QB. was Ryder behind Bobby Huth. I did not see McGuire used at QB. I wonder if that means that the backup QB. will be Ryder or Willoughby ? GO TIGERS

THROWING IT AROUND – The Tigers will get three chances to line up in 7-on-7 scrimmages this month, starting with one at 10 a.m. July 20 at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium against Miamisburg, Maple Heights, Strongsville and Louisville.

Massillon will also compete in a 7-on-7 tournament at Ashland University on July 25. It will conclude its passing scrimmage slate on July 27 at 6 p.m. at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium against Elyria and Hudson.

“It allows you to start teaching you offense and defense from the skill positions,” Stacy said of 7-on-7. “Plus, it’s another means of evaluating your players. But I don’t think you can solve anything until you put the pads on.”

I think if Bobby goes down were in trouble.:TIG2: :ERS2:

I disagree I really thought Bobby was still in til I noticed that he was throwing with the wrong hand ...lol...I think QB will be the least of our problems while Stacy is in town...

I agree....and, if our O-line can live up to their potential, we may not need to pass much at all.
