After hearing and reading heavy doses of negativity about the Tigers and the coaches this week, I began wondering what had happened to the Tiger faithful. With so much bashing of everything about our program, I was almost intimidated to say what I felt in my heart. And what I felt in my heart was that the Tigers and coaches were being abandoned by the fans. See, it's my nature to cheer for the team, even when things seem about as bad as they can be. ESPECIALLY when things seem about as bad as they can be.

At times like this, I feel woefully alone, like some elderly cheerleader inside a dark empty stadium, waving a faded orange pom-pom and shouting, "Don't give up, Tigers! Don't give up!"

However, I see that other fans are also making positive remarks (on TTT). So now I don't feel so alone with my faith in the magic of Massillon football. I want to applaud those who stand up and cheer our Tigers during moments of utter horror. I know your hearts are heavy, and cheering is not always easy to do at such times, but it MUST be done.

It's time for loyal Tiger fans to get their butts out to the stadium and roar when our team takes the field.

I know that it sounds corny. But the team and the coaches need your support more now than ever. We have a heritage of glory to maintain, and we cannot do so unless we are super fans.

If the misfortunes of Tiger football have left you needing spiritual rejuvination, then go to our grand palace of worship (Paul Brown Tiger Stadium), and root your guts out for our team this Friday night. Don't hold back -- become an uproarious Tiger Holy Roller and rock football's devil loose from the rafters!

Carl; I've got this really weird feeling. Not only for the fans coming together this Friday; But also this team, with its great individual athletes I feel that this team will find each other this Friday night and become a family. When this happens; my heart will go out to whoever is on the other side of the ball; in this case Ursuline. I also feel for Mentor; because they will feel a wrath in our repayment from last year. Then there's IGGY. They're tough. I don't know who will win this one; but I do know this; Both teams will walk off that field and know they were in the battle of their football lives. From that point foward, people will know that The Massillon Tigers became one unit of men that you just don't wanna screw with !

I agree. I was at the playoff game against Perry last year and had goosebumps because everyone was screeming and cheering thru the whole game. It was the loudest game I have ever been to "so far" and I am sure that we can get much loader. Let's show Ursiline and most importantly our coaches and players that WE ARE BEHIND THEM AND THEY HAVE OUR SUPPORT.

We are behind them win or lose, but they need to act and play like Tigers! Everyone expected them to come out fired up at Parma after Solon, but things seemed no better if not worse.

This is the best team we have played yet tonight and they will be gunning for us especially since they are DIV V - that's a lot of computer points for them.

Everything isn't tied to fan support and negative comments on why the Tigers are playing the way they are so far this year.

Its time for them to step it up tonight.
