I saw the ultimate support of this Massillon Tiger program yesterday at a local retail establishment. thanks to a friend who pointed this out to me, i had to see it for myself.
When you have some free time, stop down out your local Marc's on Amherst. Take a stroll over to their random retail merchandise. There you will not find any Massillon Tiger hats, shirts, flags, or anything Massillon period.
However if you were looking for a Cleveland St. Ignatius hat to support your local Wildcats you can pick one up for $4. I personally had a hard time believing it until i saw it with my own eyes. no less than 20 are available so make sure that you hurry over to Marc's and get yours before they are gone.
What a bunch of BS! What the hell is going on in this town?

I don't know. Perhaps because we're three weeks into the season and it started on such a high note they MAY be sold out. Just a thought. Now if you said there were shelves and shelves of Massillon stuff there I would certainly be concerned. It's called inventory and it means nobody is buying anything.

I think its ok because most of their products are "hecho en chino" -- complete with lead dyes and subject to rapid and extreme shrinkage!!!!:vbiker: so we'll just be rid of those wildcat "fans".

Hmmm...I noticed the hat I bought at the booster club booth wasn't made in the USA either so...

Marc’s is based out of Cleveland, so it makes sense that they might get a deal on Ignatius hats. Not a good idea to send them to Massillon though.
But, come to think of it….would you really want TIGER hats sold in the clearance aisles in Marc’s????? It’s usually things in those aisles that other stores are trying to unload…..http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Winks/blue-wink.gif

I am sure those Iggy hats would make great poop-a-scoopers.

The front part is also primarily made up of either slightly defected, overstock, or older inventory that needed to be moved out.

Was in Massillon Walmart the other day...You should see all of the McKinley seat cushions, sweatshirts and other merchandise there. I couldn't believe how much of it was actually there. Someone in Walmart management there is either a McKinley fan or doesn't have a clue.

Maybe they are trying to get the team and fans pump up. But we need to go to walmart and burn it. GO TIGERS.

You're not the only one who noticed that. I asked my wife, "I wonder if the Canton Wal-Mart is filled with Tiger stuff?"
