I keep seeing people asking why some players are not playing D... It doesn't matter, the defense is doing fine.

They have held their own...

remember... in the last 2 games they have given up 37 points.

However 1 TD was on a kickoff return.

So the D is down to 30 points.

Another was a fumbled punt inside the 7

I don't think we can fault them there either.

23 points.... not bad. 3 tds, and a field goal in 2 games. 14 of those points came in the 4th quarter.

there is some others where field position was a gift from the offense and the D held them to a fg... Basically my point is this, if not for the offense and Special teams giving up gifts to the opponent

Solon's drive for the FG started at about midfield... The D held them to a FG.

How many 3 and outs did they have against Solon?

How many times did Normandy have to punt? How many times did the tiger offense start with great field position up in Parma?

Not too bad considering they have been on the field a lot and have had to do a LOT of work every game.

THE Defense is fine.

Right on Spize, a few tackling issues but other then that the D is fine. Until they get time to throw the ball or create holes to run through they wont win.

If the offense could manage 3 scores, this d would probably keep them in most games.

No doubt..the D hasn't been perfect with tackling etc...but they have played well enough for us to be 3-0....no questions asked.

Excellent thread Spize. Tackling will improve.
