"Michigan (0-2) has opened a season with two straight losses at home for the first time since 1959 and has dropped four straight for the first time in four decades."

Wow.

It shows how consistently good Michigan was. 39 straight years without a losing season (longest ongoing streak in the nation.)
32 straight bowl appearances (longest ongoing streak in the nation.)

I'd say those streaks are in serious jeopardy!

Boy oh boy you would certainly hope not but right now it's not looking good. One good win, like this weekend against the Golden Domers and they'll be right back to getting it together. I want them strong come November. I don't like beating guys when they're half in the ground already.

I wonder how many people at Mentor and Iggy are saying that about us?
Sorry, I couldn't resist.

If they're able to win enough games to be bowl eligible, they'll get an invite because of their large fanbase. But there's no doubt the Big Ten teams smell blood.

Michigan vs. Notre Dame...it's a damn shame that one of these teams will actually be allowed to win this game.....Too bad they both can't lose! lol :jestera:

I'm staying true to my team: Go Wolverines! I am in it with them, no matter how it turns out!!

P.S. longtimefirsttime, I had a shocking dream two nights ago that former Michigan winning quarterback John Navarre was a high school head football coach and he was a finalist for the coaching positions at St. Ignatius, Massillon, Warren Harding and two Stark County high schools in the Federal League. I'll spare you the rest.

If you had said Lloyd Carr, I might've believed it.
