Hey, the world champions will be fine. It's only one game. And there is no way I am jumping ship over this...the black and gold are still 5-time Super Bowl champions!!!!!

"Tommy Maddox burned his bridge with Bill Cowher, then added to it when he snubbed their Super Bowl ring ceremony in June. The Steelers also believe he just can't play anymore. The Steelers would rather sign Jeff George than ask him back."

The Steelers will be fine. The O-Line is intact from last year. Only two gone from the defense. Put this team in the top four in the league. Onward to the Super Bowl!:trophy: :drinkem:

I think people are really, really underestimating how big of a loss the Steelers took this offseason. Hope, Van Oelhoffen (sp?), Randel El, and Bettis...those guys were not replaced. Keep in mind that the Steelers only made the playoffs as the #6 seed, and although they went on an incredible run, it was very tough for them to even get into the playoffs.

So...Keno this is for you. My prediction for 2006 is that the Steelers will MISS THE PLAYOFFS.

Bad timing. Don't underestimate the Steelers...it's only week 1. It's September 6th and you know what...the Pittsburgh Steelers are still Super Bowl champions!!!!!
