Does anybody know what's up with the game programs for this year? Seems you can't buy one at the gate anymore. I did see some people flash a card and get it punched and they got their program. There had to be a dozen or so people looking around for programs while I was there. Might be missing out on some $ with this new setup. On another note does anybody have a link of the Tigers opponents results for this year or a listing some place.

They've been stopping by the tailgates before the game, selling the programs! It seems as though they run out every week.

easiest way to get the opponet info = http://www.joeeitel.com/hsfoot/teams.jsp?year=2006&teamID=1624
Yeah, this was the first home game in a gazillion years that I wasn't able to buy a program at the gate. Maybe due to an anticipated smaller crowd they printed less this week.

Did you go to the booth that is set up inside underneath the stands near the sec. 4/5 entrance?
My seats are on East side and the booth on that side was vacant.

Speaking for the west side only:
The Massillon Boys and Girls club sells the programs and has small program stands set up both outside (just behind Paul Brown statue) and inside the main west side gate.
I believe there is also a "programs" booth under the west stands across from the main concession stand. I was told Friday that beginning with the Ignatius game, those who purchased a season ticket for programs may pick their programs up at that location. Season program tickets were being punched at the Booster Club's new stadium store but that format did not work well (store gets swamped and season program ticket holders simply want to quickly pick up their program, hence the change).
Hope that helps!

I entered on the west side main entrance and no programs. There was a little concession type setup selling old uniforms ect.. and that is the place I saw some people showing some type of card then getting it punched then get their program. I asked the fellow behind the counter and about all I got out of him was you need a card??? While I was trying to locate a program I must have heard at least another dozen or so people asking about them also. Seems like lost money...

East side has really been IMPOSSIBLE to find one, once inside the stadium !!:sour:
If the problem continues, it looks like the best solution will be to purchase a prepaid season program ticket.

I guess I never paid attention to that option. Is this something that is asked in April, when we pay for season tickets??? :rockin:

The programs start selling on both the Home and Visitor's gate entrances at 6 pm when the gates open. The past two home games we have sold out!!!! I personally was at the visitors gate entrance from 5:45 until the band came on the field at about 7:15 pm when we finally sold our last program..... We shut the booths down just before the boys come out on to the field.... since we are parents of the boys playing we want to see the game.... Hope this helps shed some light.

If there is such a demand for them, I would hope for the sake of the fans that they start printing out a little more than they are currently doing. Especially for the remainder of the games since it is practically guaranteed that the attendance will be up for those games. If not, it just doesn't seem fair to the fans, or wise, to turn down the extra profit.
I can certainly understand wanting to see your kids though. That is why they should make them available in the booth. At least you won't have to worry about that for the Herbstreit. I am of the understanding that the students from the E commerce classes will be selling them all day for that event.
They currently cost $3, but I am wondering if they will be more that day seeing how they will have to include info on all of the teams:scratchchin:

The Cost is $3.00 .... and as far as I know We don't have control over what is ordered... Apparently they go by past sales???? they just hand us the Boxes and tell us how many we have to sell... I know we had the boys out in the parking lot helping sell the programs also.
I always pre-pay for my programs when I order my season tickets. That is the card you saw being punched. The only difference in picking them up this year,is they moved them from the Program window to the Booster window. When you go there to get a program, there are people looking at tee shirts and sweat shirts to buy. All we need is our ticket punched and a program handed to us. In the past, there was no waiting.

And that's why we are going back to using the program booth for season program ticket pick-ups.

I too have been trying to get a program for 2 weeks to no avail. I guess I will have to wait til our next official home game 4 weeks from now.
I hate to be negative but its kinda ridiculous for a program of our stature to run out of programs in 2 games that drew well under 10,000 ea. Whatsupwidat??? I can wait, no big deal I guess, but I am a little embarrassed for the schools that had to travel all that way to our historic stadium and cant even get a program. That is an important momento for alot of people.
