We are looking for a good place to eat before the game, we prefer Applebee's but can only find T.G.I. Friday's and fast food. We prefer not to eat fast food, anyone know of anywhere else to eat near Byers Field?

There's a fox and hound right down the road from the stadium, not the main road, but a side street. The food is good but get there early. Massillon fans usually take it over.

Would that be kid friendly? We will have our 4 year old with us.

Its Ok before the game for kids. There are usually several children from Massillon in there before the game. Plus, they have football games on their big screens, so if the Buckeyes are playing you won't miss any of the action.

We may try Fox and Hound as long as my father-in-law agrees to it. So maybe we will see some of you guys there before the game.

They have good food. Just be sure you get there early. Heck, I forgot this game is a Friday game, usually there on Sat, when playing Iggy. I say be there no later than 5:00-5:30

Thanks for the tip. We are planning on leaving from our house just south of Wooster at 3:15 and picking up my father-in-law on the way. We should be in Parma around 5ish if we do okay in traffic.

I think the nearest hotels are near I-480. Just North of the stadium of few miles.

FYI
Parma General Hospital's emergency room and the Parma police department (jail) are just two blocks away from Byers Field if you get too carried-away

We like Antonio's too. The food is good and there usually a lot of Massillon fans there too. We like because we can park in the lot go eat and go the stadium.
