Why is it for 13+years Mr. Dewald and WHS TV refuse to show the otherbands halftime show? They work just as hard as our band and I think it would be a show of great sportsmanship to show the other bands halftime show. It is also good for the people who cant make it to the games in person. They like the TSB, but would also like to see the other teams band also. To me the halftime show is a battle in itself as well. As to who has the better band and most school spirit. To not show the other band to me is a show of unsportsman like behavior.
Show the other band show please!

I don't think that advertisers what to pay to show the away band.

I for one really enjoy the other bands. Solon was big and they sounded wonderful. They have a great band! The majorettes was beautiful and talented. They had at least 220 marching. I would love for them to come or to be invited to the band review this year. When is the band review this year if there is one. I think if I remeber right there wasn't one last year for some reason or another. Anyways im kinda :offtopic:

I'm gonna take a stab at this one and I could be entirely wrong. I had telecommunications with Mr. Dewald and Mr. Sheetz. I think they are very nice gentlemen and wouldn't do anything out of bad sportsmanship. I would gander to say that it's probably more of a break time for the crew during the game. It's probably not easy to put this production on, so basically it's probably more like their "halftime". Just a guess...

Solon doesn't get Massillon Cable. So their is no "sportsmanship" issue.

Since they work "just as hard" as our band, maybe their TELEPRO dept. should work as hard as ours and broadcast to their fan base.

Or, everyone could just attend the games.

Um the fact that he posted massillonmarine's response and said that we have a winner I would suggest reading massillonmarine's response and drawing your analogy from that. It's pretty self-explanatory and it's CERTAINLY not rocket science.

Massillonmarine's explanation is correct. It gives a chance for students to take a break, grab a pop, go to the bathroom, etc. It's a student production, not the NFL.

These kids need to understand that just because youe 14 years old that doesnt mean you get a break. Work in shifts, work through the night just get it done!!!!!!!!! JK

Even in the NFL, the camera crew gets halftime off.
