What are your pronostications?
Yes I realize Moeller is coming up. And yes I realize although they're a "little down" this year you should never overlook them. But we're fans. We don't play the game. The topic is what it is.

It was moved to PBTS a few months ago. I would guess that would change the spread even more.

I AGREE with all the predictions !!!
I don't see St. Eds losing. I am also not sure about St. Xavier winning.
Will McKinley be in this next year? I wondered if they would be stuck with league games depending on the date next year.

They are in it. They are rumored to be playing Hoover, Alabama but it's a long way off and subject to change. Here's more about 2007:

The rumors that I have been hearing is the the Herbstreit Challenge is being moved to Fawcett next year, and in the years to come, as long as there is a Herbstreit Challenge. I have no problem playing it over there every other year, but there is NO WAY our people in power should just let them move the games to Fawcett every year. We should tell them that in order fo us to participate every year, the challenge has to be played in PBTS every other year.

I hope we play Hoover in the Herbie nex year! We will show them what Ohio football is like! They are cocky and over confident-- there schedule is weak and they play 2 good teams all year! Massillon will be a nationally ranked team next year and we can kick theyre a@@ any day!

Benchboss1 is right on the money as every other year impoves our recognition and finances. Don,t let Canton get it all ! Go TIGERs BEAT MOELLER

If it's about money, don't you think that Fawcett's 5,000 more seats might be a contributing factor? At this year's prices of $13/ticket, that's about 65,000 potential reasons to have the games at Fawcett rather than PBTS. Of course, if the games don't sell out, that argument is moot. :)
BTW, if you're going to buy Herbie tickets this year, support the program and get them at the ticket office in advance. We make money of advance tickets, but not from game-day sales.

Having never purchased a ticket pre-sale for a Tiger game, where is the ticket office during the week? Is it at the stadium or some other location? I'm going to try to run over there during lunch next week.

The Herbie will be in Canton next year over Labor day weekend. It is a one year contract much like the one at Massillon.
It IS all about the money!
As for OVERSELLING I dont' see that happening
they can't sell more than the stadium would hold.
One tickets if an all day ticket, since we will be paying $5 to park you will be able to go and come with as you wish.
I am not sure how the band will be handling matters as the Herbie people will tell them what can and will be sold, ( I think they are paying the band to man the consessions) All Wendy's signs need to be either removed or coverd as it is sponsered by McDonalds.

It's at the old high school on the SW corner of 3rd and Oak SE. There's a parking lot on the corner. Park in said lot, then look at the building to the immediate west (the "new" part of the old high school). Walk in the southern (left) door on the east-facing wall, take about 3 steps in and one to your right, then turn right. You'll be looking at the ticket window. Cash and Visa/MC are accepted (I don't know about checks).

This is my reason why Massillon should bargan on this issue. There probally won,t be many fans comming from the out of state teams. As far as I know, The Columbus school does not have a great fan following and won,t bring many people. It will be interesting to see how large a crowd St. Eds brings as they usually don,t have a great fan support on the road but with their high ranking, they might. The more people will be good for the concession stands and the parking fees. The main fan support will come from Massillon and I doubt that the stadium will be completely full as a lot of Columbus people will probally leave long before our game. The same thing with fan support would take place if the games were move to Canton. They need us to make it a financial success so we do not have to let them have the games every year and let Canton get the money, supported by us. We have barganing power and should use it. GO TIGERS BEAT MOELLER
