Peterson, Fox, Everett cut
Sunday, September 3, 2006
Three former Stark County high school standouts who played at Ohio State were among the players released Saturday as NFL teams reached their roster limits.
Minnesota released former GlenOak High School standout Dustin Fox, and ex-McKinley star Kenny Peterson was cut by Green Bay. McKinley’s Tyler Everett also was let go by Denver.

THats too bad. I hope they can catch on somewhere.
Both Fox and Peterson surprised me. I know Fox had some injuries but I figured he would it least make it on special teams. I thought Peterson was playing somewhat regulary for Green Bay.

I'm sure all three will land elsewhere. There are some teams still looking for holes to fill.

Never thought much of Fox. You would think that Kenny could be picked up by someone.

I wonder if he could fit in at DE with the Browns in the 3-4? Didn't he play both DE and DT at Green Bay?

I really feel bad for Kenny. He's been jerked around (told to gain weight to play inside...then told to lose weight because he's too slow and they want to move him back outside). Kenny is a truly outstanding young man who has given back to the community in so many ways that people will never know. I hope he catches on somewhere.

Didn't take too long. Fox signed with the Eagles, Everett hooks on with the Bears.
