JONES GUILTY ON ALL CHARGES

Michael D. Jones will spend the next 22 years in prison for the March 23 rape and kidnapping of a pregnant Massillon Speedway store clerk.

A jury found Jones guilty on four felony charges – rape, kidnapping and two counts of robbery – after deliberating for about two hours Thursday morning.

Stark County Common Pleas Judge Richard Reinbold sentenced Jones, 43, of 1322 Glenwood Ave. S.E., to 22 years in prison and labeled him a sexual predator.
