Will senior linebacker Matt Rees and the Mount Union football team be celebrating another Stagg Bowl championship — the program’s 10th — in December? With 43 lettermen back from last season’s 15-0 team, another celebration is very possible.

you don't understand until you go to game. it's total domination usually.

i was in the band for the 5 years i went to school there and witnessed many blowouts like this.

sometimes, the opposing team never made it across the 50 yd. line the whole game.

the cheerleaders do 1 push-up for every point mount has scored after every touchdown and that gets pretty amusing when the score gets that high!

It is. I always felt that as soon as you go up by a few and it is obvious the other team has no chance, start putting in the 2nd and 3rd string. You still keep trying to score with them and if the other team can't stop your 2nd and 3rd string....too bad.

The problem here is that the starters would have only played 8-10 minutes and don't get the work that they need. I think then it goes back to the AD or football coach needing to schedule someone a little tougher. I guess Mount Union probably has problems getting teams to play them in the first week or two just like D-I schools who dominate.

hey the 1st quarter and 1st half everything is game because your one's have to get work. Mind you, Mount scored 2 defensive touchdowns in that first quarter and 3 overall (punt block and fumble return so 38-0 wouldnt be deemed runnign it up. Kehres doesnt run the score up on anyone. He legit could of beat that team by 150 plus points if he really wanted to. I have seen Kehres with his three's in games drive the field, get 1st and goal, then have the qb kneel 4 straight plays and give the ball back. Trust me he doesnt run it up. Mount's starters didnt even finish the 1st quarter.

Mount Union College is at the height of their dominance! THAT was my first game I went to in nearly two years and I LOVED it! That was a scintillating performance by the nine-time national champions!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, I want to shout out to former receiver Randell "On Tap" Knapp, who was in attendance Saturday! And also to his other brothers Ryan, Robert, and Landon!!!!!!
