I was very happy with the lack of penalties especially first game. Any one have the stats.

I remember one, maybe two all night. Certainly, very good for a first game.

And, they missed a motion penalty on one of their TD's and about 4-5 holdings.

I can understand some of the holding not being called as they could call it every play, but the motion penalty was so obvious. The receiver was clearly moving forward well before the snap. Overall though, I thought the officials did a very good job.

Maybe the refs though we were playing a Canadian school again, and gave them a break on the motion penalty !!
