NOT to be going down to Cincinnati in Week 2 to bake in the sun at the Bengals' stadium?
Are they even having "whatever that event was called" this year? Or is it superceded by the Herbstreit Classic or whatever that event is now called?
I didn't care one iota about playing down there - win or lose- with absolutely no football atmosphere at all!

Actually, I am disappointed about not going down there again. I think it is a great trip for our kids AND our program. I think that it can only enhance the playing experience for our kids, playing in a professional stadium is a great thing for our kids. It also helps set our program apart form the others, makes us different.

I had a lot of fun down there. It was HOT but I think it was more uncomfortable at yesterday's game.

i agree about playing in a pro stadium and the tough competition, but the general atmosphere (constant video advertising, etc. The 10-minute halftimes) left something to be desired.

If I remember, last year Moeller got to warm up and we didn't.And two years ago, against Elder, the officiating left something to be desired. So yeah,I'm glad we're not going there this year.Once every few years might be okay.

Just to set the record straight, we warmed up on a practice field outside the stadium.

And, then the team had to wait 15 minutes on the sidelines before the game kicked-off.

I was enjoying the extra time I had on game day because I did not have to travel! But with a big win on Friday it will be a pleasure to drive 4 hrs!
