Game feed worked awesome. It did cut out a few times prior to the game start, but once the kickoff was underway, it was solid and no issues. The feed was about 3 mins behind actual gametime, which is expected. The 2 guys doing the broadcast did an awesome job as well. Look forward to listening to another game next week.


I was in and out of the chatroom, but the posts got posted as soon as I hit enter. Love the new background.

The game feed was great. There was no cutting in and out on my end. The chat room worked great also. I didn't read the chat real time during play because I didn't want to get the update info from Butler before it came across the game feed. It was great to see all the different locations the people were listening from.

Although a couple of minutes behind ESPN900, the feed was much clearer, so I will be using the TSN for my Tigers fix each week. Using the chat room was very easy, but I wouldn't recommend being there while listening as well. That takes the fun out of hearing what's happening cuz Butler just told us...LOL

Chat seemed to function very well. Took me a little while to find some of the controls (some of the sounds are a little annoying). It did stop showing my posts briefly in the first half. I just closed the chat and re-entered and had zero problems there after.

There always are some people that would prefer I don't do the play by play since the web feed is a few minutes behind what I'm posting. If you want to enjoy the chat room without seeing what I post, simply use the room's /ignore feature. That way, you will see all the posts in the chat with the exception of mine.

A webcam would not be far fetched at all. Very simple setup, and the stadium has the network to run it through.

You could hook a webcam to a laptop and sit in the stands and broadcast it to the web.

I thought the chat went well. Took a little while to get use to everything.. but as always Butler kept us informed! I always listen to the webcast just to get the ambience- but read what's going on live from Butler. Good suggestion to others to just select Butler as an ignored user, that way you can still join in the chat but listen delayed...even though a few of us who like to "whoo hoo" and " Boom boom" might still spoil it! :wink:

I think we had 42 users a few times, averaging probably around 35. So good turnout for the first game!

Representing was Arizona, Seattle, North Carolina, Oklahoma & Ohio... that I can recall.... there were a bunch of 'lurkers' don't know where they were all from. But had a great time as always!
