As a Buckeye fan, I like it like it is now. They have The Bucks rated 15th in the country in preseason and predicted to finish 4th in the Big Ten. Last year being ranked # 1 from the preseason polls and running the table all year till the Championship game I feel The Buckeyes turned into the Miami team of 02 and got too over confident and Florida played the role of the 02 Buckeye team and the same result happened, Ohio State had their lunch handed to them. I like it like this, starting out 15th and each week having that hunger to win and move up and be right there at the end. Take it week by week, and keep moving up in the polls and let someone like USC run the table and get overconfident in the Title game. I was there last January in Arizona and it looked as ugly as it looked on TV. So, lets go Bucks and remember IN TRESSEL WE TRUST. Also it's 10:15 AM on Friday Aug. 17th and MICHIGAN STILL SUCKS.

very good post. i completely agree with everything you said.

this team reminds me a lot of the '02 team. going into that season osu had a star-in-the-making rb (clarrett), a question mark at qb (remember the talk of zwick beating out krenzel), and a great defense. this year looks to be very similar.
