I heard this on WKNR earlier this week. I remember his old Indians columns in the PD (man that had to be brutal covering them at that time). I own many of his books and respect him as a journalist. It is the Beacon's loss and the Plain Dealer's gain.

I'm sorry to see him go. I love his faith columns. I have met him and he is a nice guy in person. Good Luck to him at the PD.
