"“We’ve really been stressing to them how important special teams are and how much it can change a game,” Tiger special teams coordinator Jamey Palma said. “We tell them every day that it’s one-third of the game. If you win on offense and lose on defense, but win on special teams, you win two out of three parts of the game, and you should win the game.”

The article says either Schott or Mike Clark.

I forgot that Mike mentioned that he also punted. Now that my memory is jarred, I thought that I heard he punts pretty well. Never heard about Schott punting the ball, but............................. if he does it, he's probably good at it !!

If Clark becomes the punter, his arm/legs could be a very good advantage on 4th down.

That surprises me if Clark is also the #1 QB. IMO, Dailey was the better punter last year, but they wouldn't use him becasue of the chance for injury. Same for Zwick, except on 3rd down, which never made much sense to me.

Yes Clark is a very good punter. He can sure boot the ball down the feild and usually with a nice high spiral.

Haha and another thing.. If Schott ever goes down which we pray he doesn't. Don't be suprised to see Devoe Torrence kicking PATs.

Both Clark and Schott have looked decent in the punting duties so far.

Zwick actually punted one time on fourth down in a playoff game but I don't remember the opponent. The punt didn't go far but he was roughed and we got a first down.

Its nice to have a Zwick or a Daily or a Clark out there just have to remember that they are pretty defenseless if someone wanted to take a cheap shot and take them out.
