The Middletown levy went down by 186 votes but they still have to count 285 provisional ballots on August 21. Its all most imposible for it to pass. GO TIGERS

With that huge pay-to-play fee, you'd have to think their numbers will be down.

Has anyone heard what their numbers are going to be?

I would think they are WAY down
They are charging something like $250 to play
and that is each sport!

$900 is a lot of cheese. What are the kids who run cross country paying for?

True, $900 is WAY TO MUCH, but Fremont Ross had $350 PTP Fees all of last year. It hurt the numbers, but not horribly. As far as Football goes, they are 10 players up from last year's 10-0 run.
Yesterday, they lowered the PTP Fees to $175 which is good news for everyone starting with Winter Sports.

MIDDLETOWN — In the next week, Middletown school officials will begin to make decisions about going back before voters in November, even with a "glimmer of hope" provisional ballots, Superintendent Steve Price said during a news conference Wednesday afternoon.
Some decisions on the pay-to-participate program, such as how many students need to pay the fee to cover the cost, and if it is an all-or-nothing procedure, will be decided by board members at an Aug. 20 meeting.

The All-or-Nothing worries me!
If they cancel the game we are screwed on Computer points as it would be after the cut off date!
Anyone remember about 15 years ago one of the teams we were to play went on strike we found another team but didn't get points/

It wouldn't hurt us much on points as it will change the divisor to 9. Points are averaged, so the total does not matter as much as long as the average is high.McKinley and others have made it playing only 9 games.
