I have seen two passing references to re-doing the just completed new turf.
Is there a problem?

I don't know much about it, but I have heard that in a normal installation there are maybe 2 to 3 re-seaming jobs and this one had something like 18. I also heard that there was something wrong with the big M in the middle and some endzone issues. I'm sure more people could fill you in more.

Turf will be redone next spring. Too any seams and most lettering is a mess. Big "M" is off center on the 50 yard line. Patchwork is seen around 30 yard line in south end. They did a terrible job. they have to re-do or field turf will lose over a million dollars in new turf installs for the indoor and Walsh University. A crew came in last week to try and fix some problems from last crew. They did a pretty good job but it is already bad.
Major problem with taking up track also. Players are sliding across the track after leaving field surface. Nike coming in to lay down rubber shoe surface soon.

I certainly hope that the problems with the seams don't increase the risk of injury. I hope we didn't pay these stiffs up-front.

Perhaps the turf is guaranteed for a couple of years? You would hope that all touch ups' are free of charge.

I have no clue all of what went into this turf project....BUT how in the world did this happen???I mean was this known since it was "finished" or is this something that just "came up as of late"????I am sure we won't be having to pay to have this redone???

Thanks for the info guys. I have heard conflicting reports on whether this additional work is covered by the warrenty. Does anyone KNOW what the situation is?

I guess we'll just have to have a perfect season on imperfect turf!
