i actually have a small part in a couple of studies the pharmaceutical company, UCB, is currently conducting on the drug. i work in legal at the clinical research organization that is managing the studies for UCB. for both of the studies i drafted the contacts for the participating u.s. sites, and negotiated the terms (including the agreement for the doctor mentioned in the article, dr. dryden). unfortunately i don't get to see how the study is progressing, so i was pleased to read the article.
