Preseason All-American team [Archive]

Troy Smith sure has alot to prove with all of these people pushing him for the Heisman, and putting him on all of the pre-season All American teams. I contend that he'll have more talent around him on his offense then any other QB has on his team this year, but that doesn't mean he deserves a Heisman (Ie; Gino Toretta-Miami. or, Andre Ware-Houston), or to be an All American. I'm not so sure he's even the best QB in the Big 10. Drew Tate at Iowa and Chad Henne at Um may have something to say about it by the end of the year. I'm not saying that either of those teams will beat OSU, but I think it's quite possible that both players will prove to be better QB's.
As far as Smith being the 2nd best QB in the nation goes, I'll take Brian Brohm at Louisville by a wide margin, and I would even take Pat White from W. Va. over Smith! OSU would definatelty be the team to beat for the national championship hands down if they had Brady Quinn, Brian Brohm, or even Pat White!
Lets see if Troy can prove me and many others wrong this year! Go Bucks
