Someone stole both of my Dad's flag holders (Korea and Vietnam) at North Lawn Cemetery. My dad was a vet from both wars and it makes me stick to my stomach to see that they are gone. I have no idea where to start to get them replaced. The Cemetery will not help me with this. Any help would be great. Thank you.

That is such a shame. It makes you wonder what kind of satisfaction these people gain from being so thoughtless. They must not have any type of a conscience at all. Idk, but I would think that maybe you could contact a veteran's organization and that they could at least be able to direct you if not help.

I've tried calling the VA for replacement, but the hold time is awful and I can only call between 8 and 5 M-F.:usflag:

It may be quicker going to the local VA office. It used to be in the bank building downtown Canton. Can't remember the name of the bank, buts it kitty-corner from the main Courthouse and is the same building where Domestic Relations Court, and Probate Court are held. Hope this helps.

Show respect for the deceased, especially the veterans who gave their lives so that we can have ours as we know it today.
